Frequently Asked Questions
-
LA Scoliosis & Movement PT is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is required at the time of service. A detailed superbill can be provided after each session so patients may submit for possible reimbursement depending on their insurance plan.
-
In California, you do NOT need a referral to begin physical therapy. Thanks to California’s Direct Access law, you can schedule an appointment and start care right away without seeing a physician first. However, there are a few important details to know: You may be treated without a referral for up to 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. If you need care beyond that window, a referral or signed plan of care from a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant is required.
-
Treatment timelines vary depending on your condition and goals. After your initial evaluation, we’ll discuss a plan that makes sense for you and your schedule.
